About Us

Founded in 2002 Winters Broadband is focused on wireless technology solutions providing:

	Wireless based Internet access services
	Consulting services to promote the creation of rural WISP services
	Power control and management products enabling the design of high availability solutions for WISP applications.

Winters Broadband consulting services and products are backed by their experience and application in their own wireless network which consists of twenty nine access points in a service area of over 400 square miles.

Management

Brian Horn, President

Brian Horn has over 36 years experience in Information Technology, Telecommunications and Broadcast Television in companies ranging from Fortune 100 to a venture capital based high technology startup. He founded Winters Broadband in 2002 to bring high speed Internet access services to the rural California communities. Brian was a founder and Vice President of Product Planning and Management with BlueArc Corporation. He has served in management technical and marketing positions at Lucent Technology, Madge Networks, LANNET and Andrew Corporation. His career started in Africa with Rhodesia Television and South African Broadcasting Corporation where he was Chief Engineer. Brian has a BSEE degree from the University of Natal in South Africa.
